Surbhi Vyas
You may be the first to go to college in your family or one of many but either way it can feel like an uphill battle balancing pressures from family plus the additional
pressures you put on yourself either consciously or subconsciously . I specialize in working with the South Asian population especially bridging the cultural gap between 1st generation Americans and their immigrant parents who may have a different set of values or a different way of communicating.
I practice from an anti-racist/ anti-oppressive lens integrating the mind, body, and spirit (when applicable) connection. I work with adolescents, young adults and couples from AAPI/BIPOC/ immigrant communities and focus on trauma and the ways it shows up, including anxiety, low self-esteem, and interpersonal challenges. I’m passionate about working with intergenerational trauma amongst South Asians.
Grateful to be here and connect with you all!
I’m out of network. If you have out of network benefits my full fee would be due at the time of service and I would provide you with documentation to submit to your insurance for partial reimbursement of services.
