Stony Run Psychology & Wellness, LLC
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Psychologists
We bring active listening, collaboration, and warmth while delivering evidence-based, goal-oriented treatment that leads to lasting change. Because we are goal-oriented, our treatments tend to be fairly time-limited. This means that our goal is to make ourselves obsolete.
We take seriously that patients come to us to live more meaningfully and to show up more often as the person they want to be. Once we have an understanding of what you are looking for, together, we’ll turn to researched strategies to help you move forward. Our clinicians work especially well with patients and families who arrive with readiness to communicate openly and make changes in their lives.
We use both individual and family therapy approaches, drawing from behavioral and cognitive behavioral interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). We are also developing our practice of Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT or IBT) and Functional Analytic Psychotherapy (FAP).
