Facing our traumatic experiences and embarking on the journey to self-improvement and healing can be intimidating. I am here to offer support and build a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can take that first step. I am passionate about helping teens, young adults and adults face life challenges with confidence by building and strengthening their coping skills. I have experience in working with the LGBTQI+ community and individuals from multicultural backgrounds. I aim to build a therapeutic relationship based on respect, mutual trust and transparency.
I use techniques from different modalities such as CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Trauma-Informed Care to help clients walk towards a healthy lifestyle. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, relationship skills, building self-esteem, school issues/IEP and 504 support. I have experience in school social work and residential programs.
My therapeutic style takes a collaborative approach between client and therapist. I believe that my role is to guide the client in their journey to self-discovery while fostering self-efficacy and improving quality of life.
