Steven Baum

I will work closely and intensively to help bring you a sense of relief and contentment in your life. The brief and longer term psychotherapies I practice are intended to result in real and long lasting life changes. These changes are often associated with an increased sense of satisfaction, contentment and inner peace. I will help you identify and use your strengths to address the challenges you may be facing and to reach your goals.

My special areas of focus include work with relationship and intimacy issues, work concerns, identity and developmental issues, and midlife and aging. I also work with older children and adolescents, with a specialty in therapy with children and adolescents from disrupted families and alternative family structures.

My office is located in North Oakland across the street from the Rockridge BART station in the Market Hall complex. There is free parking and easy freeway access.
