Stephanie Ranson
I became a therapist to help individuals make sense of their experiences and navigate life's challenges. I’m passionate about facilitating meaningful change that reduces isolation and strengthens coping with pain, stress, and trauma. I believe therapy benefits everyone and that all individuals deserve a space where they feel heard, understood, and safe.
I accept self-pay clients (college age) for telehealth and in-person visits and am in-network with many insurers. I currently accept the following, including Medicaid/TennCare (TN), Medicare (TN), Aetna, WellPoint/Amerigroup, Blue Cross Blue Shield (Commercial & Medicaid), Tricare, Ambetter, UHC Commercial and Medicaid, and WellCare.
Clients describe me as empathetic, understanding, encouraging, and attentive; I provide safe, nonjudgmental support while fostering growth by building trust, meeting you where you are, and treating the whole person—ensuring you feel heard, validated, and understood.
My primary goal is to treat the whole person using an affirming, strengths‑based approach that helps each client feel empowered, respected, and seen. I believe everyone possesses talents and skills that can be mobilized to overcome obstacles and achieve meaningful goals. If you are ready to begin, please reach out by email, text, or phone to schedule an appointment or ask any questions.
