Stacy Taylor, LCSW
I offer an eclectic approach that combines the best of several different treatments. Insight and depth therapy can help you to understand the roots of your issues. But just focusing on the past can lead to discouragement. To avoid this, cognitive behavioral therapy has proven highly effective for changing deeply ingrained habits. I also offer plain-old warmth, kindness, humor, and common sense, as we work together collaboratively to help you feel better soon.
I have been a licensed psychotherapist since l988, and I work with most presenting issues. I've worked with college and graduate students for over 20 years, and have presented workshops for the staff at UC Berkeley on anxiety disorders and also on chronic pain. I have published a book entitled, Living Well with a Hidden Disability.
