Stacey Burroughs, Bloomfield Counseling and Wellness LLC
Hello, and thank you for considering me as a helper in your life journey. My name is Stacey; I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 25 years' combined experience in counseling, human services, health care and education. Most recently, I provided counseling within a family practice setting for a large hospital system. I've enjoyed working with students in kindergarten through post-secondary education. As an adjunct instructor at a community college I noticed how crucial support was to academic success. Having a safe space to express emotion, needs, and to talk through challenges can lighten the load, and free up energy for learning and social development.
Students seeking support for adjustment to college and campus life, relationships, time and energy management, rigorous study and scheduling might be a good match with me. I enjoy helping students find time to nurture and care for themselves, acknowledge each and every victory along the way (including making it to class), and develop healthy, thriving social networks.
I hope to connect with you soon!
