Kathleen Bank, LPC
Kathleen Bank is a licensed professional counselor specializing in individual-based interventions for emerging adults. Her primary areas of specialty include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for individuals with Anxiety Disorders, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. Kathleen received training by Duke University counselors through the Mindfulness Institute for Emerging Adults (previously known as Koru), and taught immersive classes in Mindfulness at The Hun School of Princeton. Kathleen did her graduate work at Villanova University. She has worked in counseling roles at Horsham Clinic, The Hun School of Princeton, and Center at 353 Counseling, Princeton. She volunteered during the pandemic for The Emotional PPE project, a national nonprofit coordinating pro-bono outpatient counseling to healthcare workers affected by the pandemic.
Over the course of her clinical training and education, Kathleen has had the invaluable opportunity to work in diverse therapeutic settings, with a wide variety of diagnoses, and in close collaboration with psychiatrists, physicians, teachers, and family members. She is licensed in New Jersey and practices telehealth.
Kathleen enjoys speaking to groups of parents, students, and professionals on topics related to anxiety, stressors and ways to identify coping strategies.
