ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS. Are you tired of feeling stuck? Need help to reach your goals? Do you feel broken from trauma? Do you struggle with emotional regulation? Do you experience difficulties as a result of childhood abuse? Do you find it difficult to manage anxiety, depression, anger, or guilt/shame? Asking for help is difficult if not scary at first. I have a relaxed, calming, secure, and soothing environment where we can work together as a team to bring the desired healing you seek. As a Professional Counselor Associate, I will use my skills and voice to help empower my clients with hope.
I believe that everyone already possesses the potential to heal and master new skills. Additionally, I have experience working with clients that are also affected by substance abuse. I am active in sessions, offering new perspectives, tools, and ideas to work with. I often bring my therapy dog with me. He can be kenneled upon request.
Using an integrated approach, I use best practice models such as trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR), grounding/mindfulness practices, motivational interviewing, acceptance, and commitment therapy (ACT), psychosomatic therapies, psychoeducation, and internal family systems (IFS).
