Sommer Lynn Kraft-Purvis M.S.
I attended Eastern Washington University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology in 2000 and a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Psychology in 2003. Native to the Spokane area, I have worked in the mental health field since 2002. My primary focus is helping women and birthing people navigate the challenges and triumphs of conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, motherhood and relationship transitions. I also warmly welcome individuals and couples working through a broad range of personal issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, relationship obstacles, traumatic experiences and difficult transitions. In addition to my work in maternal mental health, I lecture on a variety of topics in the community, including stress management, self-care and resilience. I am a member of many organizations including the American Counseling Association, Perinatal Support Washington and Postpartum Support International.
