Bianca Pena
As an experienced mental health therapist, I am passionate about empowering and supporting individuals through life’s most challenging moments. With a strong foundation in strength-based and patient-centered approaches, I work with those experiencing anxiety, depression, conflicting relationships, stress, grief, and significant life transitions.
Throughout our time together, I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Attachment-Focused Therapy—to tailor treatment to your unique needs and goals.
With a master's degree in social work from Yeshiva University and more than 8 years of experience in social work, I bring both clinical skills and genuine compassion to the therapeutic relationship. Throughout my career I have become especially passionate about supporting patients from marginalized backgrounds while addressing individual mental health needs and the broader social contexts that impact well-being.
At the heart of my work is a deep belief in the healing power of authentic human connection, and in the importance of holding a nonjudgmental, culturally affirming space for each client’s experience. Grounded in empathy and respect, I create a safe and collaborative therapeutic environment where you feel heard, valued, and understood.
