Sobesky Psychology
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, the Rocky Mountains provided a beautiful backdrop to a variety of educational and professional experiences. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver, where I obtained specialized training in psychological assessment, substance misuse, couples psychotherapy, and university counseling.
After completing my training in New Orleans I have continued to provide mental health services for university students, individuals, and couples. I have extensive clinical experience with adolescents, emerging adults, middle age adults and over seven years of direct clinical service for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students.
A commitment to cultural humility and anti-racism remains a central value in my clinical practice. Individuals and couples of all races, religions, nationalities, sexual orientations, gender identities, abilities and relationship identities are welcome.
