Silvia Werbowsky
Hello! My name is Silvia, I am a bicultural and bilingual (Spanish & English) LCSW therapist. I graduated with a master's degree in social work with a concentration in clinical work from Fordham University. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, trauma, adjustment problems and life stressors. I was trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and I have extensive experience working with individuals from different backgrounds.
My therapeutic approach is a strength-based, client-centered, holistic approach, and trauma informed. I also utilize different evidence based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, solution focused brief therapy, mindfulness, and MATCH in order to meet each person's needs, goals, and preference.
I value working with my clients closely "hand in hand" and meeting them right where they are. I like to see my clients at the same level in which you are the expert in your life and about yourself while I can assist you through any adversities or challenges.
