Welcome to Silver Birch Psychiatry Services!
We are a team of psychiatrists offering compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based mental health care for adolescents, young adults, and adults. Our practice includes Dr. Elise Anderson (M.D.), Dr. Whitney Cummings (D.O.), and Dr. Kaitlyn Hounshell (M.D.).
We provide individualized care for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, trauma, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and identity exploration. Treatment may include medication management, supportive therapy, and lifestyle-based approaches.
We strive to create a space where people of all backgrounds, including LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent individuals, feel seen, respected, and supported.
We currently offer in-person and telehealth appointments and are licensed to see clients residing in the state of Michigan.
