The idea for Shugr came to me as I looked for my own therapist; clinical bios felt sterile and often read more like dating profiles. I realized then that I wanted needed something that felt more relatable.
My goal is to provide care in a way that is both compassionate and direct, while still remaining authentic. From our first session through our last, let's leave the therapy talk outside and instead engage as human beings. Real recognize real.
