She received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Boston University with a focus on childhood trauma. Sarah has worked in community based mental health, schools and group private practice with children and teenagers since 2017. Sarah sees clients between the ages of 6-21 years old (at the start of treatment, you can continue to see her past age 21) and is able to offer support in navigating the transition to adulthood.
Sarah welcomes clients of all backgrounds and is able to provide counseling from a Christian perspective. She primarily sees clients in person but is able to provide Telehealth as well. Treatment approaches include trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), CBT, play, art and narrative based therapy.
Sarah has experience with a wide range of needs including trauma, abuse, neglect, attachment, foster care and adoption, self esteem, transitions, social and relational skills, behavioral challenges, anxiety and depression. Sarah's therapeutic approach is always tailored to each individual client’s needs, personality and developmental level.
