There are times in our lives when problems can feel overwhelming, painful, and difficult to face alone. Relying on friends and family may not always be a viable option. During our sessions, you can expect me to get to know you by listening to and understanding your experiences.

I provide feedback that you can apply to your everyday interactions. We will explore the thoughts, feelings, and reactions that arise in therapy and in your daily life. Whether you are looking for extra support during a challenging situation, want to change behaviors, need help processing PTSD, or simply wish to change direction in your life, I look forward to establishing a collaborative relationship with you on your life’s journey.

My therapeutic approach is eclectic, drawing from evidence-based methods such as interpersonal psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, psychodynamic theory, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness meditation. I use aspects of these approaches to help you clarify issues, explore viable life options, and resolve problems, leading to psychological growth and experience.

I not only help you resolve issues and challenging situations, but also assist you in determining your needs and finding ways to meet them. If you want to discover who you are individually or in the context of your relationships, I can help you learn about yourself and navigate the complexities of your relationships.

Furthermore, I seek to promote personal growth and strengths, and to help you to discover your life’s purpose. I am committed to working with multiculturally diverse and minority individuals. I provide open and affirming therapy for the LGBTQIA+ community, as well as therapeutic support for individuals with neurodiverse conditions. Additionally, I enjoy working with college and graduate students dealing with issues related to college adjustment, ADHD, career choice, and daily life as a student.

I look forward to hearing from you!
