Hello, I’m Shimika Daniels Turner, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) with over a decade of experience in the helping profession. I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship challenges, and major life transitions—especially during young adulthood.

Growing up, I witnessed my grandmother’s daily struggles with mental illness. That experience instilled in me a deep empathy and a calling to help others. I believe healing is possible and that everyone deserves to live a life that feels fulfilling and meaningful.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you are not broken. I meet you where you are and walk alongside you, using evidence-based and culturally sensitive methods tailored to your unique story—including CBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care—to help you heal and grow.

I know seeking help isn’t easy, and you deserve to feel seen and heard. My practice is built on authentic connection and deep care. Therapy isn’t a quick fix—it’s a journey of healing and growth. I bring compassion, lived experience, and purpose to walk with you every step toward a more peaceful, empowered life.
