Shelby Garcia, LPCC, LPC
I believe that healthy change starts from within and my role is to be a guide during this process. Often times we feel we are stuck in a rut with no way out, but together we'll work on building self-empowerment, better self-care, and self-awareness. No matter what you're going through there's always room to learn and grow from the past to make a better future. I specialize in anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, and building self-confidence. I'm also trained in Brainspotting.
My process is cognitive-behavior and reality based. I believe in meeting you where you're at working in a collaborative way. My role is to help you develop insights, strategies, and tools to use outside of session to accomplish your specific goals. My work is focused on reclaiming your power and building strength, growth, and hope.
No matter what you're looking for, whether it be short or long term services, or just a safe space to talk, I look forward to supporting you in reaching your goals. Currently, I have immediate availability with flexible times.
