When individuals experience trauma, life stressors or transitions, it is not uncommon for their lives to feel as if it is falling apart. I would like to help bring healing to individuals that have been through these experiences. I help my clients, who include children, adults and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves to strengthen their relationships so they can learn strategies that are TaylorMade for their treatment.
I know that no single approach is the right one for every individual and so I have been trained in a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My specialties include Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Family Issues, School Issues and Post traumatic Stress Disorder.
My educational background includes a MA in Clinical Counseling from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#6710) in the State of Louisiana. I am the owner/operator of TaylorMade Therapy, LLC in Harvey, Louisiana.
