Welcome to A New Way Mental Health Counseling Services, PLLC. I am Sharee Gunner, Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York with 15 years of experience supporting individuals with life's challenges. I have experience with diagnostic evaluations, diagnosing, treatment planning as well as individual and group therapy. I enjoy working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds with varying challenges, including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, trauma and parenting support.
My counseling style is warm and client focused. I believe in meeting each individual where they are and adjusting the counseling style to meet their needs. I believe in being respectful, empathetic and culturally competent. I allow the client to take the lead when appropriate and support them with finding the solutions.
