You often wonder what tomorrow will bring but instead of excitement and hopefulness, you feel nervous or a sense of dread. You imagine all the things that could go wrong which then makes you feel sad and scared. It’s been hard for you to enjoy your life. You’re not sure why you always think of the negatives. Perhaps it's because of your past pain. You’ve learned that anticipating the worst would protect you from getting hurt, taken advantage of or disappointed. And this thought process has kept you safe, but now is ruining your mood and your ability to be happy.

You want to feel validated and understood. You want to exist freely and authentically, despite living in a society that tells you you can’t. You want to be present and enjoy the positives, while creating safety for yourself. You are the expert in your own life and happiness; my job is to help you uncover what that means for you.

I am a trauma informed, anti-oppressive, relationally oriented therapist that uses interventions including CBT, EMDR and Mindfulness to support your unique needs. I offer a warm, non judgmental space for you and I am providing totally virtual sessions for your convenience!
