Psychologist
Accepting clients Last Updated 1 days ago

I view therapy as a collaborative process; I am not someone who just sits and listens. Past clients have told me I'm down to earth, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental.

I specialize in anxiety and stress; I have experience with generalized anxiety, health anxiety, panic attacks, social anxiety, insomnia, and career or school stress. I also specialize in helping clients build self-esteem and learning how to challenge negative thoughts about themselves.

I use primarily a cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) approach, which focuses on changing how you think and what you do. I help facilitate growth by providing support while teaching specific skills like how to identify and validate feelings, communicate, and resolve conflict.

My passion has been psychology since I first discovered it in high school. I love being a therapist because I can combine my strengths of deep analytical thought and helping others. I've had many clients come back to see me for therapy as their life changes, which has been extremely rewarding.

(Please note I do not prescribe medication or do neuropsychological testing, although we can discuss referrals for both of these as part of your therapy treatment.)
