Hi, I'm Scott. Having worked in a variety of settings, including clinics, hospitals, mental health organizations, churches, orphanages, and community centers, I've gained a holistic view of the world that deeply informs my practice. I believe in being open and transparent with my clients, and I draw on a range of therapeutic modalitiesâfrom laughter and exercise to cognitive behavioral therapy and attachment theory. In short, I am a generalist with a systems perspective, which means I look at how different parts of your life interact and influence each other.
I specialize in a wide range of areas including anxiety, dementia, depression, family relationships, grief and bereavement, intimate and romantic relationships, learning disorders, LGBTQIA+ support, life transitions, medical issues and physical health, military and veteran support, perinatal support (pregnancy, prenatal, postpartum), sex and intimacy issues, spirituality, and stress. Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just need someone to talk to, I'm here to help.
I've been fortunate to travel to over 85 countries and even lived in South Africa for four years. These experiences have broadened my understanding of different cultures and perspectives, which I bring into my work with clients. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, I'm here to support you. Let's work together to find the best path forward.
