- Psychologists
Hi, I’m Dr. Sarah Muñoz, and I am dedicated to fostering a therapeutic space where clients feel truly seen, valued, and supported. I believe that healing happens within relationships built on trust, collaboration, and cultural responsiveness. My approach is deeply rooted in social justice, trauma-informed care, and inclusivity, honoring all aspects of identity, including race, culture, gender, sexuality, and spiritual background.
I specialize in working with college students and adults in individual therapy focused on concerns surrounding trauma, religious and spiritual concerns, substance misuse, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, suicidal ideation, and identity exploration. My training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows me to help clients process painful experiences in a way that fosters resilience and healing. Whether you are working through past trauma, questioning aspects of your faith or belief system, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am committed to providing a nonjudgmental, empowering space for exploration and growth. I also work with couples in therapy, addressing concerns related to communication, trust, intimacy, conflict resolution, emotional disconnection, infidelity, relationship anxiety, and identity dynamics. My approach aims to strengthen relationships, enhance understanding, and foster a deeper connection between partners.
