Clinical Social Work/Therapist, MSW, LICSW
Accepting clients Last Updated 7 days ago

I am a clinical social worker (LICSW) with over 25 years of experience working with young adults and families across a variety of settings. My areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, parental guidance, attachment, family systems and relationship issues. I deeply value authenticity and strive to create a trusting relationship with my clients. My approach is grounded in family system theory but draws on a variety of methods including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy to create a tailored approach for each individual person.

I am committed to helping clients determine problem clarity, as I believe this is essential to achieving problem resolution. The feelings of anxiety, sadness and inner conflict can feel so overwhelming. My work focuses on engaging collaboratively with people to fully understand the roots of their personal pain and create pathways to healing emotional wounds.

We are in a conversation with ourselves all day long, and when we become more aware of how we talk to ourselves, it gives us the opportunity to become more gentle and compassionate with ourselves. Clients who work with me learn how to transform the internal conversation and shift their thoughts, patterns and ultimately their lives for the better.
