Deeply Rooted Counseling - Sarah Knauer

Pre-Licensed Professional

I feel honored when people share their joys and hardships with me. My goal as a therapist is to make you feel comfortable, respected, heard, and supported. It would be a privilege to be a part of your healing and growth process.

I am trained in EMDR and have found it to be a gentle, yet effective approach to processing trauma. Some of my interests are working with families, survivors of intimate partner violence, and childhood trauma. I also have experience helping people with anxiety and depression, sexual assault, grief and loss, life transitions, and postpartum. I am certified to use Prepare Enrich for couples seeking premarital counseling. As a first-generation American, I always appreciate the opportunity to work with individuals from varying cultures.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions, or just to see if you think we could be a good fit!
