My goal is to help my patients find relief, whether it is falling asleep with ease, completing tasks confidently, being present and interacting with loved ones, or even coping with a difficult social settings. I received my doctorate degree as a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Columba University in 2020. While board certified to treat a diverse scale of symptoms, I have over 4 years of experience with children, as well as adults with substance use disorders.
My main focus is medication management. However, I believe it is important to meet someone where they are at and provide psycho-education about various options for treatment, rather than dictating one path. Choosing a medication is a collaborative and fluid discussion where there may be more than one right answer.
I believe in taking the time not only to complete comprehensive assessment of symptoms, but also explore the root of the symptoms. I strive to create the most thoughtful plan for each individual, with the patient as an active participant in their own treatment.
