Sarah Caprioli
Hello, and thanks for checking out my page. I take a strength based approach to therapy, which means that I meet clients where they're at and focus on resilience rather than pathology. While I see many types of clients, I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression, and regularly work with individuals who have experienced sexual assault and abuse, domestic violence, physical assault/interpersonal violence, and traumatic loss. I am a fully trained EMDR practitioner and am additionally certified as a NYS Rape Crisis and Crime Victims Advocate. I have written and published a range of academic articles and book chapters on sexual and domestic violence, and regularly present on these topics at a regional and national level.
I accept several health insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Fideliscare, Aetna, and OVS. Private pay sessions are available at a rate of $115/session.
