Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, PhD

Therapy can be a helpful way to gain insights, explore, and challenge yourself in a space that is free of judgment. I aim to provide a space where you can feel connected and supported, and where you can develop skills that will help you navigate challenges, thrive, and create meaningful change. I value learning about each client’s background and lived experience, and use a warm, active, and collaborative approach in therapy. If you are seeking couples therapy, our sessions can help you build concrete skills to improve communication, while also having the space to process the past and work towards the future.

As a bicultural and bilingual therapist, I provide individual therapy services in English and Spanish. I use a trauma-informed and integrative approach in therapy, and I incorporate various types of therapy, such as DBT, CBT, and ACT, depending on your needs and preferences. With couples, I use the skills-based Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.

I earned my MEd & MA from Columbia University and my PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. I have expertise in anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, work-life balance, self-esteem, trauma, stress, body image, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration. Please contact me if you would like to learn more. I look forward to hearing from you!
