Hello, I'm Sara Bates. I am passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges and build on their personal strengths. My clinical approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, and I strive to meet you where you are, providing a supportive and empathetic environment for growth and healing. I specialize in a variety of areas including children's mental and behavioral health, depression, addiction, anxiety, life transitions, military and veteran support, multicultural and diversity issues, perinatal support, PTSD, intimate and romantic relationships, sex and intimacy issues, spirituality, stress, and trauma. I work with both adolescent and adult populations, offering tailored support to meet your unique needs. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our sessions. I am also trained in CBT, DBT, and IFS, and I incorporate these evidence-based practices to help you achieve your goals. Additionally, I provide EAP services as a contractor for local and federal law enforcement agencies, and I am a Reiki Master/Teacher certified in stress relief practices and coping strategies. You may have seen me in the media, as I appeared in the True Crime Documentary 'Ms Murder: Julene Simko,' episode 2 on TUBI. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, and work towards a more fulfilling life. If you're ready to take the next step on your journey, I would be honored to support you. Let's work together to find the path that feels right for you.
