Sammy Haight

I view counseling as both vulnerable and courageous. I acknowledge the strength and innate capacity for growth in all of my clients and believe that counseling works best when it is client-driven and collaborative. In my counseling practice, I start from a place of unconditional positive regard, period. I aim to work with people to identify and grow their truest selves so that they may behave authentically in their lives and relationships.

Ultimately, I believe that humans want to connect with each other and let ourselves be seen. It is my experience that we want to live authentic, meaningful lives. I believe this is most easily achieved when what we do, say, think, and feel align. I aim to model authenticity while supporting clients. (I also knows this is hard and am constantly working on it too!)

In my free time, I love to read, bother her three cats (Kevin, Porkbun, and Bug) and throw surprise parties. (Ok I've thrown one, but it went well ok!)
