I believe that we are a product of our environments, and our identities are shaped by our interpersonal relationships as well as our connection to larger social systems. Therapy is a space to better understand how these relationships impact you emotionally, unlearn unhelpful ways of responding to stress, and become better attuned with your values in order to foster more nurturing relationships with yourself and others. I use a contextual and culturally-informed lens in treatment, acknowledging that you are the expert on your life, and always seeking a collaborative experience in sessions to target goals effectively.

I utilize a multitude of evidence-based practices to best support your needs, with particular interest in treating anxiety and stress, depression, trauma, emotion management, recovery from substance use, self-esteem issues, family tension and conflict, relationships and trust building, and communication barriers.

You’re doing the best you can with the tools you’ve got, but we need all the support possible to navigate our most difficult moments. You are making a wonderful decision to consider adding therapy into your self-care practice, and I hope to support you on your healing journey!
