Samantha Amend

Counselor, LCPC, NCC
Last Updated 30+ days ago

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) and also a nationally certified counselor (NCC), graduated from University of Baltimore. My specialized training is in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and I utilize various psychological theories to provide individualized care. I have focused the last five years on working with individuals to improve their mental health. I aid my clients in the development of strong skill sets by better understanding their unique purpose and goals. I am experienced in working with children, teenagers, adults and families. Growing up in a wheelchair and overcoming my own grief and anxiety has resulted in a passion for helping others through understanding, empathy, encouragement and teaching. I know it is a difficult decision to seek counseling, but I am committed to meet you where you are and guide you through this season of life. I look forward to working with you on this transformational journey.
