I bring years of education, training and experience to my therapy practice as a licensed clinical psychologist. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient clinics, community mental health clinics, domestic violence support centers and college counseling centers. I am experienced in treating mental health challenges that range from mild adjustment concerns to chronic and severe mental illness. This means I have many treatments, tools, skills and ideas to offer you in our work together. However, I believe you are the expert in your life and I will take your lead.
Together, we can uncover patterns in your daily life and relationships that don’t serve you. We can dive into your history to learn how past experiences still impact you now. By doing so, we make room in your life for new healthy patterns and relationships to take shape, allowing you to live your life with more freedom and contentment.
I strive to create a safe space for people from diverse backgrounds in my practice. I believe cultural competency is essential to therapy and I am committed to offering services that honor how individuals identify. It is a privilege to work with clients from the LBGTQ+ and BIPOC communities.
