Sai Peterson
I believe how we think about our experiences and what we do in response matters as much as what actually happens to us. I help my clients develop awareness of their thoughts, feelings, action, and their bodies, and help them explore how those experiences might interact with one another, both in the past and present.
I also believe in balancing acceptance and change, both in the work and in the therapeutic relationship itself. I strive to create a validating and nonjudgmental space for my clients, while gently challenging and supporting them to grow and make necessary changes.
My approach is trauma and attachment-informed, and draws from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), attachment theory, and mindfulness. I strongly believe in collaborating with my clients and tailoring the service to fit their unique needs.
