Hello, I'm Sade Adeeyo, a Licensed Professional Counselor and dedicated social justice worker. My journey in psychotherapy has allowed me to work with adolescents and adults from various racial, ethnic, class, gender, and sexual identities. Rooted in Humanistic Psychology, my approach to care is person-centered and collaborative. I firmly believe that we are the experts of our own lived experiences and have the innate ability to access healing. In our sessions, you can expect a high level of empathy, non-judgmental and trauma-informed care, and compassionate yet straightforward guidance and feedback. Building trust and authenticity in our therapeutic alliance is paramount to me.
I received my clinical training at an outpatient treatment facility, where I provided individual and group therapy. This experience honed my skills in substance abuse treatment, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness interventions. Additionally, I have provided clinical case management and residential support for women survivors of trauma and housing instability.
My clinical interests are diverse and include identity, relationships, trauma, spirituality, intimacy, anxiety, depression, stress management, and addiction. Alongside my private practice, I work as a school-based clinician, supporting high school students and their caregivers across a continuum of care.
If you're seeking a therapist who values empathy, authenticity, and a collaborative approach, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can navigate your unique journey towards healing and growth.
