Ryan Crawfis, PMHNP-BC (Method Psychiatry)
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who works primarily with college students, graduate students, and young adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, sleep problems, academic stress, executive functioning difficulties, and feeling overwhelmed by everything they are trying to manage at once. I provide both therapy and medication management, depending on your goals.
A lot of students I meet are smart, capable, and trying hard, but still feel like they are barely keeping up. They may be procrastinating more, having trouble focusing, falling behind, feeling constantly anxious, or wondering why things seem harder for them than for other people. Usually, that is not a sign that you are lazy or bad at life. It is more often a sign that something needs support.
Meeting with me does not mean you have to take medication. It means you will have space to talk through what has been going on, better understand your options, and decide what feels right for you.
I am a teacher by nature, so I try to make the process feel clear, and not overwhelming. My goal is to help you understand what is going on in your brain and body so things feel less mysterious and more manageable. I offer longer appointments, can usually see new clients within one week, and provide a complimentary 15-minute consultation if you would like to see whether we might be a good fit.
I frequently work with college students and young adults across Southeast Michigan, including those connected to the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, Oakland University, and surrounding college communities. In-person and virtual options are available.
