Hi, I’m Ruiy, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP). My background in both psychology and nursing allows me to take a comprehensive approach to mental health care. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling to manage ADHD or mood disorders, or facing challenges with anxiety or depression, I’m here to support you. Whether you’re navigating academic stress, personal struggles, or simply trying to figure out the next steps, I can help you work through it.

As someone who has spent years learning and practicing in the field, I believe no two people are the same. That’s why I focus on your unique needs and experiences. You know yourself best, and my role is to be here as a resource, guide, and coach. I believe in empowering you to set your own goals, and together, we can work on a plan that blends therapy and, if needed, medication management. This flexible, whole-person approach helps you improve not just your mental health but your overall quality of life.

A big part of my practice is working with people with ADHD, using executive functioning skills to help them organize, focus, and thrive. I also have experience supporting people dealing with eating disorders, mood disorders, OCD, and a range of women's reproductive mental health concerns, including fertility issues, PMS, pregnancy, and postpartum challenges. My goal is to be a source of support, whatever you’re facing.

I work with people from all walks of life, including LGBTQ+ and non-binary individuals, and I’m especially passionate about helping college students and young adults during what can be a stressful and transitional time. I understand that starting therapy or seeing a mental health provider can feel intimidating, but I encourage you to be patient with yourself and the process. Trust is key, and it’s something we’ll build together as we work on your goals.

In my downtime, I enjoy making things with my hands. Quilting, knitting, and learning heritage crafts from different cultures are my way of relaxing after a day of helping people find balance in their own lives.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here for you. Let’s start this journey together.
