My experience lies in providing therapy to individuals in a variety of settings. My specialties include supporting individuals struggling to bounce back from divorce and toxic relationships and helping them navigate through negative emotions related to transitions, anxiety and depression. In addition, I also provide mental health services to individuals struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harm, sexual offenses, abuse (physical, sexual, and emotional), eating disorders, destructive behaviors, addiction and trauma. Due to my unique background, I have a strong understanding of multicultural concerns and speak Spanish fluently. I truly believe the power is within you and everyone is capable of accomplishing amazing things, sometimes we just need a little help seeing it. Navigating these challenging situations aren’t always easy, but with the right support you can look at these difficult moments as opportunities that exist within each of us to truly heal.
My goal is to create a safe space for you where healing can occur so you can achieve overall stability, manage challenges in your life with confidence and ease, and truly reach emotional well-being. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you modify thoughts and change beliefs about yourself and others affecting your emotional growth. I also use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you focus on solutions rather than problems, so you can identify your core strengths and ultimately reach and maintain goals.
