Robert S. Denkin, Ph.D., is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Yale University, and in addition to high level training and a broad knowledge base in the field of psychology, he is a former professional baseball player and collegiate coach; experiences that have contributed to his understanding of what it takes to accomplish goals. Dr. Denkin is strongly committed to helping you achieve satisfaction in all areas of your life. He integrates a practical and skillful approach to problem solving that will enable you to identify and overcome obstacles that are impeding your growth.

Dr. Denkin specializes in individual therapy with pre-adolescents, adolescents and adults who have a history of experiencing problems with depression, anxiety, trauma, attention-deficits, and substance abuse. In addition, he specializes in the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of ADHD; including in-depth psychological evaluations and psychological testing.

Utilizing a wide range of clinical experience, Dr. Denkin employs interventions derived from many different disciplines; including, but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral modification treatment, mindfulness based skills training, stress management techniques, psychodynamic psychotherapy, and sports psychology.
