Resilient Mind Counseling

Pre-Licensed Professional
Last Updated 30+ days ago

Truth is I am tired! These are words that I have uttered multiple times during my life journey and I am sure you have as well. As a black boy growing up in the rural south, I know how hard it can be to find space to talk about the hard things. Most of the times we are taught to not have feelings and explore the individual, familial, and societal stressors that constantly impact our ability to honor ourselves. You might be looking for someone to bear witness to the pain and the hardships in your life to feel safe enough to get out of your head and into your body.

As a therapist, I understand that healing is a journey and does not happen overnight. Progress is never linear, and my goal is to create space for the good, bad, and the ugly. You will be treated like a human and given the right to access all the parts of you that make you who you are without judgement.

I am passionate about providing spaces where you can move from a place of survival to thriving while caring for the whole person. At the end of the day I want you to walk away feeling empowered and confident and today could be the right time to begin.
