Daniel Buehler
Over the past eight years I have worked in the mental health field in a variety of capacities, including inpatient units, residential facilities, and day treatment settings. My experience and training with children, adults, and families in these settings has given me a practical knowledge and understanding when working alongside my clients to facilitate change. A significant part of my experience has been working with adults and children coping with past trauma to safely express their anger, manage their depression, and navigate difficult life events.
I strive to meet my clients and their families in the circumstances that they are in and make a collaborative effort to overcome the challenges they face. Each client's history, perspective, and relationships are different which is why I believe each therapeutic approach should be unique to the client.
In addition to outpatient therapy, I work part time with the social services department at Rogers Behavioral Health. Forming relationships with clients and being witness to their progress and resiliency is something that has been rewarding. Outside of work I enjoy playing ultimate Frisbee, hiking, reading, and swimming.
