Rebecca Kushins
We come to therapy with our struggles. The hope is that we leave them behind, and go forward in life with freedom and joy. I am here to offer counseling and therapeutic support to you as you unburden yourself of limitation, and seek your innate capacity for transformation. My job is to care about you as you learn just how deeply you can care for you, too. To me, therapy is listening deeply – I listen to you. And you listen to yourself, to hear your irreplaceable, undivided, internally original voice. I am inspired always by the incredible power, dignity and strength it shows every time you simply arrive in session.
All of my work is embraced with the spirit of mindfulness meditation, of which I have been a devoted student for over 15 years. Mindfulness is simply allowing our thoughts the space to be seen fully, in a non-judgmental way, so that we may see ourselves clearly, with compassion, and choose our course in life with wisdom.
I happily look forward to offering you support and guidance through whatever challenge you face right now. Together let’s transform your struggle into strength.
