Raquel Bateman
My goal in working with people in psychotherapy is to help them make sense of what is happening within themselves and in their lives and to support them in making meaningful and helpful change, which means different things to different people. We will work together to understand what this could mean for you.
I practice psychoanalytic psychotherapy and work well with patients who are interested in getting to know themselves, and themselves in relationship to others.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience supporting people with a wide range of concerns, including significant life transitions (grief and loss, transition to college, new career, illness, etc.), anxiety, depression, trauma, identity concerns, among many others. I have over 10 years of experience working with college students in counseling centers. I look forward to speaking with you.
