Hello, I'm Rachel. We've all heard the saying 'things happen for a reason' and 'you wouldn't be who you are today if that didn't happen.' While there may be some truth to those, that doesn't mean we have to let them define us. It's easy to feel like you're stuck in a cycle that you can't seem to break out ofâwhether it's substance usage, anger, fear, avoidant behavior, or unhealthy relationships. But you don't have to surrender. You have the ability to take control of your life for a better future.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, or past trauma, I can help you navigate through your mental health journey. Together, we can explore what aspects of your past or current coping skills are not best serving you and transform how to manage them moving forward.
I generally focus on treating clients who experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or addiction. I hold a Master's degree and am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor as well as a Certified Addiction Specialist. Additionally, I have certifications in treating trauma-related disorders using EMDR, tics/Tourette's disorders using the Tourette's Association of America-endorsed CBIT, and substance use disorders as I am also licensed as an LICDC-CS in the State of Ohio. I have been practicing for 15 years and supervising other therapists for approximately 10. My approach to mental health therapy is holistic, and I strongly advocate for others to prioritize their mental health and wellbeing.
If you are ready to prioritize yourself, send me a message!
