Rachel Greenspan

Licensed Psychoanalyst, PhD, LP
Accepting clients Last Updated 14 days ago

The ordinary acts of speaking and listening, in the extraordinary context of the psychoanalytic setting, make it possible to discover oneself anew, or perhaps for the very first time.

I work with adolescents and adults to explore difficulties in the areas of sexuality, creativity, relationships, work, and play. I aim to create an environment in which you can say anything, paying careful attention to whatever obstacles may stand in the way of speaking freely.

My approach is to accompany you through a process whereby something new might happen.

--

In addition to my clinical practice, I am a scholar of psychoanalytic theory and history. I hold a PhD in Literature with specializations in feminist and queer theory, cultural studies, and global modernisms.
