I've had the privilege of walking alongside clients in their healing journeys and have found that, for many whose trust (in others and in themselves) has been shaken, finally feeling heard and understood serves as a powerful corrective experience. I believe that these experiences are crucial in facilitating personal growth and change. I recognize that all clients have unique strengths, and I build upon these to create a working alliance that is non-judgmental, empowerment-based, and client-focused. Many feel alienated not only in their struggles but in their pursuit of wellbeing, especially when they have not received a great deal of support in making the changes they desire. I am honored to provide such support and join clients on their paths toward healing.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults in the treatment of trauma, complex PTSD, attachment, anxiety, and depression. I am trained in and often utilize trauma-focused interventions including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Forward-Facing Trauma Therapy (FFTT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I also frequently employ solution-focused, cognitive behavioral, and emotional regulation strategies in my practice, depending on each client’s unique needs.
