As a queer therapist, it is crucial for me to ensure your concerns are taken seriously, and you are able to show up as your authentic self.
To me, therapy means having a brave space to explore, question, challenge, express emotions (maybe some laughing, crying, and swearing are involved too), and reconnect with our true selves. My interests include working with folks that have experienced trauma & PTSD, family of origin concerns, life transitions, gender dysphoria and other LGBTQIA+ related concerns, and survivors of gender-based violence (i.e., sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, human trafficking, etc).
I particularly enjoy working with college-age/young adults, and have experience working with individuals ages 13+.
I do not believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. We all have unique strengths & needs. Let's connect and discuss what your needs are, and what we can do to help you become healthier & happier.
