I believe that everyone can find health and wellness when provided with safe and supportive environments for growth. As a psychotherapist my role will be to facilitate your growth, with you as the decision-maker in what directions we should follow along the journey. Through person-centered, multicultural, and evidence-based methods, I will help you to explore past and present issues affecting your health, going along with your pace as we discover what is important to you in journeying through life.

In my practice I utilize a culturally affirming and social justice-oriented counseling approach, celebrating the strengths and beauty of marginalized communities and working to dismantle the stigma associated with therapy and mental health care. I also use an emotionally focused approach to help individuals and couples towards deeper connection, trust, and intimacy. I strongly belief that we can heal ourselves through connection, and I will work with you to manage connections in and outside of the counseling space.

I have experience working with a variety of mental health challenges and theories, including the management of anxiety, depression, and trauma through theories of intersectionality and compassion. I enjoy working with college-aged adults working through identity development, relationship challenges, and the stress of being a college student.
